ANOTHER ALTERED PROJECT

MY FRENCH INSPIRED BOX

The box was purchase from Michaels Art & Craft Store. The box is by Tim Holtz collection Ideology configuration boxes. http://www.simonsaysstamp.com/servlet/the-28904/boxes-Tim-holtz-idea-dsh-ology/Detail The tiny boxes inside of the big box I gule them on the outside so I can add other embellishment to glam up the box.
This box is a mixture of Prima Marketing Inc. collection paper called Pixie Glen.
http://www.primamarketinginc.com/
The tiny boxes are painted in black acrylic paint can be bought at any craft store.

The big box was painted white first and then I added distress crackle clear paint finished it with black wash out paint. http://store.scrapbooking-warehouse.com/130524.html The way to wash out a paint is by applying the color first and then just add water.

The big box was paper from Alpha Stamp collage sheet of Marie Antoinette.
It's a beautiful image of her swinging on a swing. I added a lace under the photos with just enough of the lace peeking through in white color. Many of the flowers are from Wild Orchid Craft. Many of the embellishment are from prima and a butterfly paper punch from Martha Steward.

The bottom two boxes are Prima window resin that I added with one of them has a picture of
Marien Antoinette in the back, giving the illusion your looking out the window.

A NEW ALTERED PROJECT

MY SHABBY CHIC BOOK

I bought this unfinished wood book at Beverly'shttp://www.beverlys.com/. I started by painting two coats of white and then paint over it with Martha Stewart pearl paint in pink.
Painting the inside shelves of the book and for the background  I added a paper from DCWV Once a upon a time stack. http://www.dcwv.com/ Added Jewelry I bought at Ebay under vintage jewelry lot. The tiny picture frame is from Melissa Frances and I added a rose picture from one of my stack. All the flowers are from Wild Orchid craft. http://www.wildorchidcrafts.com/us/ Flowers are made out of Mulberry Paper that I purchased the key was one of my metal trinket that I had in my stach. Inside of the box I have some pearl earring that I took the back off to be able to clue it down.
The side of the box I cut out a strip of paper from the same stack and clue it on the side. The back of the box is this stunning beautiful casttle that I thought it will look great in the back. To tie in the whole desing but keeping everything Shabby Chic. I had fun making this box and hopefully I have inspired you to create your Shabby Chic box.

CENTERPIECE

Centerpiece Live Fish
This is a centerpiece that I created for a baptism made with artificial flower. Everything purchased at Michaels Art and Craft store. I took the picture before the fishes were added in the bowl. The reason is needed to wait until the event to actually put the fishes inside. Avoiding them making a mess in the bowl while your customer and the party goers are eating. I must say this is a project requires some work but also very easy to do. You can also use fresh flower using a wet floral foam with a oasis ring holder.
